I was born in Texas and raised in the Bay Area, a mix that gave me both a grounded work ethic and a deep appreciation for creative expression. My career has grown steadily through roles in commercial real estate, asset management, and strategic operations, with each one building on the last and sharpening my ability to manage cross-functional teams, align vision with execution, and create long-term value. Along the way, I’ve invested in my own development, earning an MBA and pursuing advanced credentials that broaden both my expertise and my perspective as a leader. These experiences have enriched my capacity to support initiatives that matter to me on a personal level.
My work centers on The Curbstone Companies and Viewpoint Real Estate Investment Services, which I lead to improve the quality of the places people live and do business. Through Curbstone Properties, I operate an independent real estate brokerage, and Curbstone Capital is the investment arm I co-founded with my life partner, focused on impactful real estate projects and investment opportunities. I also provide consulting services to help startups make informed, scalable real estate decisions that align with their growth.
The arts have always been one of my passions. I love attending live performances, gallery openings, and especially concerts—often with friends and my amazing partner of almost thirty years. I’ve also had the privilege of serving on the boards of two impactful nonprofits, including one dedicated to holistic arts education that provided grants to youth-focused organizations using art to nurture emotional, physical, and mental well-being. That work deepened my belief in the transformative power of creative expression.
Today, I channel that belief into Mien Management, my passion project outside of work and career. Through Mien, I advise and support creative professionals by protecting their vision, providing direction, and helping them navigate business, financial, and contractual commitments so they can focus fully on their artistry. Mien allows me to combine my business acumen with my love for the arts in a way that feels deeply rewarding.
